Shameless Self Promotion
"No writer I've worked with yet researches, prepares, and conducts an interview with Diane's directness and spontaneity. Diane is an experienced journalist, a fountainhead of ideas, a popular manager, and a virtual clearinghouse of data about...popular culture."--Heather Findlay, publisher of Girlfriends, OOB, and SF Pride Guide
"Even though it's a celebrity interview, it deals with substantive issues. It isn't often that an interview--through it's sprightly pacing and freewheeling tone--so gracefully and comfortably reflects the unique style of its subject. The piece is made all the more remarkable by the fact that the subject isn't even gay."--1999 Visa Versa judges of Camryn Manheim interview
"Alice...is what Sassy would've been if its early incarnation grew up and got a job instead of being turned into the vapid pile of doo-doo that is 'Jane.' It's solid writing about women's cultural productionn, with some research heavy features and girl friendly fluff. Light years ahead of 'Bust'...it's 'Bitch' for your middle class aunt with radical tendencies."--Kendra Marley writing in 'The Activist'
